Great connectivity with XFINITY
I am getting 1.4Gpbs down and 40Mbps up on my XFINITY service. Super happy with this device. The 2.5GB uplink connects to my EERO access points which have a 10GB network connection easily (use a CAT6 or better cable). I recently was offered 2Gbps service from XFINITY and they couldn’t program the device to accept the new speed. They blamed the equipment but I pushed back -- analyzing the logs on the cable modem showed that the service was attempted to be installed on my modem with the boot files, but the new configuration was rejected. That rejection was because the service in my neighborhood…

Simple and hassle free install
I had no problems swapping this out and ditching the Cox-supplied hardware. Very quick install and firmware updates. Low heat signature and a very plain and simple modem that works abd is fast and reliable enough for my needs and leaves room for upgrading to faster speeds in the future.

RELIABLE!
I’ve been using Arris Surfboard modems for about 25 years and they have all lasted at least 7 years or more. I can’t ask much more from something that is literally working 24/7/365.
