Missing parts, damage and product support
Missing parts, damage and product support
What should I do if my product arrives damaged?
Contact us as soon as possible. Provide your order number, a description of the problem, photos showing the full product and the affected area, and photos of the shipping box and label if available. Keep the product and packaging until we provide next steps.
What if a part or accessory is missing?
Check all boxes and packaging, the parts list, and any compartments in the item where accessories may be stored. If a required part is still missing, send us the order number, the product name, the part number or assembly-page reference, and photos of what you received.
What if I received the wrong item, size or color?
Contact us with your order number, photos of the product and packaging, and the item you expected. Do not return, exchange or dispose of the item without instructions. We will review the order and coordinate the correct next step.
What photos or information should I send for a claim?
Please send: (1) Improvemint Financial order number; (2) product name/model; (3) short explanation; (4) one photo of the complete item; (5) close-up images of the defect or missing area; (6) packaging and shipping-label photos if available; and (7) a photo of the relevant assembly instructions or part number for missing components. We may request additional documentation only as needed.
Do I contact Best Buy or the manufacturer directly?
Please start with us so we can confirm the right handling for your order and lease. We may coordinate with Best Buy, the product manufacturer or a service provider, or direct you to an authorized warranty service channel when appropriate.
Can you send me a replacement part instead of replacing the full item?
Where parts are available and the issue can be safely corrected, a replacement component may be an option. Depending on the product and retailer’s review, other possible resolutions include repair, replacement, exchange, return or an appropriate account adjustment.
How long will a damage or missing-part claim take?
Timing varies by the retailer, manufacturer, part availability and the type of issue. We will review the information you provide and update you as the claim progresses. We cannot promise a fixed resolution date before the retailer has assessed the case.
What if my item is defective but has no visible damage?
Explain the behavior you are seeing, when it began, and any error message or symptom. Include the model and serial number when available and photos or a short video if helpful. Stop using the item if continuing to use it could be unsafe.
Can I return an item instead of accepting a replacement part?
Contact us to review the options available under the applicable return policy, retailer requirements, product warranty, lease agreement and law. Do not assume a parts claim and a standard return have the same eligibility or shipping responsibilities.
What if a product is damaged during installation or home delivery?
Document what happened as soon as possible, including photos of the item, packaging and affected area. Tell the delivery or installation team before they leave when practical, and contact us promptly with your order number and a description.
What if the package appears damaged before I open it?
Take photos of all sides of the package and the shipping label before opening if it is safe to do so. Preserve the packing materials and inspect the item. Contact us promptly if there is damage or missing merchandise.
Does my item include a warranty?
Warranty availability and coverage depend on the product and manufacturer. Review the product listing and included warranty materials. Contact us if you need help locating the applicable warranty or understanding the submission process.
