Difference Maker!
When I upgraded from my last Modem/Router combo to this Arris one it made a huge difference in my home Wi-Fi system and everything I use like a computer, tv’s, phones, etc. work so much faster and don’t lose the connection.

Not User Friendly
Purchase was primarily based on reviews stating this modem/router was a ’plug and play’ device that was very easy to setup. Certainly NOT the case for me. The fast start instructions included in the box show a QR code to link to a download of a an app intended to assist in startup. Nope- the downloaded app did NOT support the model of modem/router I had purchased. Activation with my cable provider-Cox- took several phones and loads of personal time. I have not to date been able to access the modem/router and change the factory pre-set password. I will never purchase another Arris device

Great Wifi speeds. Nice to have 4 Ethernet ports.
Great value for a DOCSIS 3.1 compatible modem wifi combo. Hard to find ones not over 300 with 4 Ethernet ports for Hardline connections. Wifi works great. I typically have 25+ devices connected to my Internet at a time. This has not had any issues.

Unable to connect
Bought product in New Orleans. Spent many hours trying to get product connected to my Cox (now Spectrum) internet. Multiple phone calls to both Cox and Arris. After many hours on the phone, Cox specialist came out and told me the device was not working. Very frustrating experience.

Easy to set up.
It was easy to set up as a replacement to the Comcast router/Wifi. Instructions were intuitive. There was online help available. It works well in a three-story house which has a footprint of about 2500 ft.² with three Roku connected TVs. Feels like a good value.

easy to configure. Setup takes about 5 - 10 minutes, including the initial connection and firmware updates. Easy to log in on a browser and configure. It’s been reliable and fast.
