• Great Modem / Router

Works great with Xfinity 1 gig plan. I work from home via wifi and the connection has been amazing. Highly recommend.

• Still working and reliable...

Purchased this product almost 3 years ago and it’s still going! It’s time to upgrade to Wi-Fi 7, but set up went smoothly. Don’t mind the APP I had to download, made it easier to interface with the router.

• Awful device!

This model is one of the more expensive options, but the quality is the lowest. The one with the surface board is awful and drops frequently. Don’t waste your time on it, every time it happens you have to call a service provider to fix it!

• Buy a warranty with it! Worked great for 14 mon.

Item worked great for one year and 2 months. Suddenly at 14 months old it no longer recognized itself as a router. Thankfully I had a cell booster that still allowed me to have internet. I called my internet provider and verified this. Then I called ARRIS customer support. They ran tests and verified it was dead. They asked me if I had purchased a warranty with it, which I had with the recommendation from a Best Buy technician when I purchased it. I’m so thankful I listened and paid the additional $49.99 four year warranty. I returned it yesterday and got another set up, and another warranty.…

• Great quality

No complaints here, so far so good it’s been nearly a month since my purchase and it runs really smooth and I like the design style of it. I’ve been a netgear fan for years so I decided to try something different to see if there was any competition and yes this device is definitely equal to the netgear brand and it’s well worth the price

• Connected to Mesh System

Router combo is working well. However, it took several days to get it started. I had to have an cable company tech connect a cable to my mesh system. The combo router had separate connections for the internet (cable) and the wifi systems. I did not know this and after calling the surfboard techs several times, I was finally connected properly. I do not like the fact that the modem router is not completely wireless since I needed a cable for the mesh system. Other than that it is great. My speed is faster than my old combo router.
