The AC750 Wi-Fi Range Extender expands your router’s signal into areas the router can’t reach on its own, achieving speeds up to 300Mbps on the 2.4GHz band and 433Mbps on the 5GHz band. The RE205 plugs into your outlet and the Intelligent Signal light will guide you to the best spot for maximizing Wi-Fi coverage. Attach a smart TV or any other wired devices to the Fast Ethernet port or switch the extender into access point mode to create a new Wi-Fi hotspot for a stronger signal. Set up and manage your Wi-Fi through the TP-Link Tether app, available for both Android and iOS. Tether's simple layout lets you quickly access Wi-Fi settings right from your smartphone.

Works great!
We needed wifi in metal barn so attached in a plastic weatherproof box outside a window and works inside barn with a tv to stream .

As Described
I was concerned about the other low reviews but just angled correctly, it works great. Now, the extender was put in a bedroom next to the router. So, not sure if it’ll be the same from farther away. The Internet in that bedroom was choppy and dropping without the extender; therefore, I recommended it.

Extends my signal a little farther than my router which is what it’s supposed to do. Decent range.

Wireless network extended for a network printer
I needed a way to connect a non-wifi network printer to my network at a distance from my router. This worked great, the printer came right up.
