The Nighthawk WiFi 7 Range Extender is a WiFi booster for rooms your router cannot reach, with three high-performance antennas adding up to 1,500 sq ft of coverage. Dual Band WiFi 7 carries speeds up to 5 Gbps with capacity for 45 devices, so streaming and gaming stay smooth. Smart Roaming keeps your existing WiFi name, and a 2.5 Gig Ethernet port wires a PC, console or 4K TV. Works with any router and extends your network rather than replacing it, and sets up quickly in the Nighthawk app.

ONE WIFI NAME ACROSS YOUR HOME Smart Roaming keeps your existing network name and moves each device to the strongest signal automatically, so there is no manual switching and no dropped calls or streams as you move room to room
EASY SET UP Use the NETGEAR Nighthawk app for guided setup, or press WPS on your router and the extender
SPEED FOR A HOUSEFUL OF DEVICES Stream in 4K, game, and connect a houseful of devices with up to 5 Gbps (BE5000), around 2.7x faster than previous WiFi. Real-world speeds vary depending on connected devices and internet plan
WIRED CONNECTION WHEN YOU NEED IT MOST Connect a smart TV, game console, or desktop straight to the extender for a full-speed wired link through the 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port
WORKS WITH THE ROUTER YOU ALREADY HAVE Extend WiFi 7 coverage now and upgrade your router later. Works with any router or gateway from Xfinity, Spectrum, AT&T, Cox, or Verizon. It extends your router, it does not replace it

NETGEAR BE5000 Dual-Band Wi-Fi 7 Range Extender
I replaced my existing network range extender with a new EX27 Extender. It is very easy to set up and works very good. I use this Network range extender as an Access Point and my new laptop and phone connects to wifi 7 easy, Setup is also very easy with no problems. I also use the range extender web page to set it up.

Doing the Job
Bought this because I have an area in the rear of the house where the WiFi signal is weak. My Roku stick would stop streaming, as the WiFi signal was weak. So far this has fixed the problem. The signal is much stronger in that part of the house, and I ran a speed test in that area and the speed was more than sufficient to stream without any buffering.

Netgear Solved the Problem
Great product. Glad I purchased because I needed to extend internet service to garage, and now solved my problem. Now I can rest easy. Easy setup. Followed the directions online. I like that you can move the device to another plug to adjust reception.
