The Nighthawk WiFi 6 Extender is a WiFi booster for rooms your router cannot reach, adding up to 1,200 sq ft of coverage from any wall outlet. Dual Band WiFi 6 carries speeds up to 1.6 Gbps with capacity for 20 devices, so streaming, gaming and video calls stay smooth. Smart Roaming keeps your existing WiFi name, and a Gigabit Ethernet port wires a PC, console or 4K TV. Works with any router and extends your network rather than replacing it, and sets up quickly in the Nighthawk app.

NETGEAR Extender Delivers Fast, Simple Setup
This NETGEAR EAX12 mesh extender makes setup painless. Plug it in and it gets to work almost right away, no complicated steps involved. Pairing it with the NETGEAR Nighthawk app makes the process even smoother, giving full control over the network right from your phone. A reliable pick for anyone looking to boost WiFi coverage without a hassle.

Works but not apparently if you have solar
I have solar and the reason I bought this was to make the signal I have from where the router/modem combo is at go to the solar. The signal strength near the extender is good. But, when you try to connect the wifi to the solar it barely has any signal. Mind you, the solar inverter is on the same wall as the wifi extender. Just one is on the inside and the other is outside. Also, i get signal from across the street to my wifi.

Strong
Description: I used the extender to connect to my security system. My router didn’t have the strength to reach outbuildings. The Netgear mesh extender is easy to set up and easy to place.
