This Washer & Dryer Stacking Kit can be used in tight spaces to place the dryer on top of the washing machine, freeing up additional room in your laundry area. Please check your appliance's use and care manual to ensure this is correct for use with your appliance. This kit includes all the parts needed to safely support the washer and dryer as well as detailed installation instructions. Installing this kit will require basic hand tools and novice repair experience. You must unplug both the washer and the dryer or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliances before installing. Helpful Tip: We also recommend using affresh Washing Machine Cleaner (item W10501250) once a month to help reduce odor-causing residue that can build up in your washing machine's drain without proper care. affresh brand products are owned and distributed by Whirlpool Corporation.

Dryer & Washer are stack
If your washer and dryer are stacked, you’ll need to have a stacking kit installed. Also, make sure to request two delivery people in the work order for safety, even if it’s a brand-new unit! While the washer and dryer work great together, there’s often confusion about stacking them. Be sure to get both the sales order and work order stating that the units will be stacked to save yourself a whole lot of hassle.

The stacking kit should be included
I don’t know how many buyers of this product stack their washer and dryer, but this kit should be included when someone buys a washer/dryer set.

Don’t forget the stacking kit!!!
Don’t forget the stacking kit. I needed to put my washer and dryer in a laundry closet. Luckily, they were stackable, and the kit made it like they were one unit. Super easy to move for service if needed now!!!

Additional charges
Part of the installation items necessary. Since you asked, it would be nice to know everything would be included when you buy an appliance to know the true full price.
