Excellent for extra reach in optimal lighting
As expected, the teleconverter fits tightly onto any Sony emount body, with no play in my specific unit tested on the Sony a7iii, a7iv, and a7v with the 70-200 gm ii and 200-600 g lenses. If you have ample light, this product works exceptionally well, but if you’re in poor lighting the autofocus will struggle.

Getting my focal length doubled with a low cost
its a great addition to your setup, and it works great with my 70-200 GM 2.8, highly recommended and specially for slow moving subjects or steady subjects, sharpness is on top notch still.

Great addition to my camera bag!
Bought this as an alternative to buying the more expensive f2.8 600m lens for my Sony alpha a7 IV. It has done an excellent job when taking long-range soccer photos. It does need to be stabilized on a tripod or bipod to prevent motion blur, but an excellent purchase when compared to the more expensive lens.

Amazing!!! The reach and the quality of the photos are incredible. You can’t beat the price too! I use a 70-200 G ft 2.8 version 2 for sports photography! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Teleconverter Lens - No Zoom Lens
Great lens, but not one I can use since it was delivered but without the Sony - FE 70-200mm F2.8 GM OSS II Full-Frame Telephoto Zoom G Master E mount Lens that I also ordered. It’s difficult to use the teleconverter lens without the zoom lens. I bought the teleconverter so I could boost the zoom lens. If I return the teleconverter lens, I will be charged a restocking fee.
