Not worth it
I recently purchased the Sonos ceiling speakers, expecting top-notch sound quality for the price. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. The sound quality is comparable to what you might get from an Apple HomePod, it doesn’t stand out as anything exceptional. A bigger issue for me is how the sound travels—because the speakers are mounted in the ceiling, the audio carries upstairs into other rooms, making it feel like the speaker is in the room above. This has been quite disruptive in our home and makes the system unusable. I would also recommend prospective buyers think about their options…

The perfect musical atmosphere you needed
I was surprised by the audio quality of these speakers, once you run TruePlay (it is necessary to do so) I installed 2 pairs to cover the kitchen and living room, combined with a subwoofer, and the results are better than what I was used to with a combination of Sonos 5 and Sonos 1. Easy to install, they look elegant. I recommend them.
