1TB SSD
Great product with wonderful storage. My laptop was starting to die and this worked great as a replacement.

Easy upgrade and perfect for more game storage
I bought this because I was running out of room for games and needed an easy way to add more storage. Installation was surprisingly simple, and once I had it set up, it worked exactly the way I hoped. The drive is fast, games load quickly, and having the extra 1TB means I’m not constantly deciding what I need to uninstall just to make room for something new. I’ve had no issues with performance or reliability. If you’re looking for a straightforward storage upgrade for a gaming PC, this is an excellent choice. Easy to install, fast, reliable, and gave me exactly the extra space I needed. Very…

a reliable SSD
I have several Samsung SSD’s in various sizes. All have been reliable and trouble-free.

No regrets
I purchased this to put in my gaming computer and everybody talks about how it doesn’t have the fastest loading speeds but honestly, if you don’t have a problem being patient don’t wait time is only seconds longer. Price to build quality is great, but with the increasing inflation, something to consider.

PS4 HD replacement
Did everything expected. I’ve been using this for about a year. No issues. PS4 is marginally faster and I doubled the HD space. All my games work without issue.

Premium SATA SSD That Exceeds Expectations
I purchased the Samsung 870 EVO 1TB SATA SSD to replace an aging mechanical hard drive, and the improvement was immediate. Installation was straightforward, and Samsung’s Magician software made it easy to verify the drive’s health and optimize performance. From a technical standpoint, the drive consistently delivers performance near the limits of the SATA III interface, with sequential read speeds up to 560 MB/s and write speeds up to 530 MB/s. System boot times, application launches, and file transfers are significantly faster, while multitasking feels much more responsive.

SOlid SATA drive
The Samsung 1 TB 870 EVO drive is a fabulous SATA drive, and until recently, was very reasonably priced 6 months ago in January of 2026.. Hopefully the prices will come down, but the product is solid in manufacture and reliability.

Dependable SSD for O/S
Until my next build has NVME options, I had to stick w/ 2.5” form factor SSD drives. This was the best overall solution for the main O/S drive replacement. Fortunate to have purchased this before datacenter techbros nearly doubled the price of anything with flash memory. If you have the $ to spend at current price, would recommend.
