Bad Battery
I purchased this camera to record video for my daughter‘s wedding. When I took the camera out of the box, the battery wouldn’t work. I used a backup camera to record the wedding. When I went to return the camera, I was charged a 15% restocking fee despite it being defective. The sales manager in Spokane told my daughter that he couldn’t waive the restocking fee, but maybe the national office could. I called the national office and they said they couldn’t waive the restocking fee. Maybe the sales manager could. I wouldn’t recommend this camera and I certainly wouldn’t recommend buying any…

It’s a beast.
The Nikon Z8 is an absolute beast. It’s built like a tank and delivers superb image quality that never disappoints. The colors and details straight out of the camera are stunning, making it a versatile powerhouse for almost any style—from macro work to fast-paced wildlife. On top of all that performance, the ergonomics feel fantastic in the hand.

Happy wife, happy li… yeah right! Who we kidding!
Bought my wife a nice camera to play around with and shoot some candids on vacation … I didn’t known this baby was sooooo bad, that she’d become a professional photographer by the end of it!! I myself didn’t wanna say anything.. figured it was just cause she’s mine… but nope.. you gone have yall pot if that’s how she plays out, and I’ll get stand, mic, mid door, camera, whatever she needs! Needless to say wife is beyond happy.. and now her D750 setup is her spare/rainy day setup!

What can I say? It’s a Nikon and it was worth every penny! This camera takes amazing photos. There are a lot of features with this camera and there is a bit of a learning curve but once you get it dialed in it’s great! Get those photos like the pros. Buy this camera!

I mainly use this for my bird photos. The auto focusing is lightening fast. And resolution of the photos are greatly improved

Z8 is indeed great!
This camera is everything it is cracked up to be. It is essentially a mini Z9 with no vertical grip added, so much easier to handle. Only Nikon makes cameras this good. Buy it now!

Dream camera
Going from a D750 to a Z8 has been life changing (or business changing) The focus system alone is worth every penny. Absolutely a dream camera. My pictures and posing has improved 100 fold now that I don’t have to spend so much time pixel peeping at my sessions. I have my old camera in case of emergency, but I’ve never picked it back up.
