AVOID THIS UNIT! HEATING ELEMENT DOES NOT TURN OFF
After less than a year, this heater does NOT turn off the heating element. I have to unplug the unit to get the heating element to turn off. This is a MAJOR safety hazard that can burn an entire house down. On top of this, Lasko refuses to honor their 3 year warranty. They claim since the unit was purchased open-box, the manufacturer warranty is voided. Best buy’s open-box guidelines contradict this.
