Features
- Tweeter Refined tweeter gap damper tames resonances for improved detail
- Superior Sound The Uni-Q driver array has been redesigned to maximise the performance improvements that MAT delivers. The conical waveguide that couples the tweeter dome to the metamaterial absorber has been specially designed for the bespoke driver based on its depth.
- Shadow Flare Feature designed for The Reference. Reduces harmful cabinet diffraction, allowing the 12th generation Uni-Q with MAT to work to its potential.
- Performance Powerful drivers can easily cause the cabinet walls to make noise of their own
- Suggestion The two centre speakers can also be used in LCR configuration. Identically sized Uni-Q arrays are deployed on the centre speakers and all other models in the series. This creates a consistent sound character.

Game changer!
The KEF R6 Meta LCR is a significant upgrade from my previous Polk Audio center channel. I had been considering this speaker for quite some time, and during a recent visit to Best Buy I was fortunate to find it available as an open-box item. As an avid audiophile, my expectations were high—and the R6 Meta exceeded them across the board. Dialogue clarity is exceptional, sound quality is rich and precise, and the overall build and aesthetics are outstanding. This center channel has elevated my entire home theater experience and has proven to be a worthwhile investment.

Best center channel
The KEF R6 Meta (black) has been a great addition to my setup. It delivers super clear dialogue and really fills the front stage when paired with my R3 Metas and Denon X3800H. Movies sound way more immersive now—voices are easy to understand and everything blends smoothly. The black finish looks sharp and fits right in with the rest of my gear. If you’re putting together a KEF home theater, this center channel is a no-brainer

Best center channel (LCR) on the market

It’s been a fun, long, but expensive search, and I’m finally happy to have found the best center channel speaker IMO with the KEF R6 meta. Towards the latter half of my search, I was using a full SVS Ultra speaker set-up. I then upgraded to a full Arendal 1723S 7.2.4 system. I was a lot more satisfied with the Arendals over the SVS system as I appreciated the neutrality and distortion-free capabilities of the system. However, I found the 2-way center speaker to be a bit lacking compared to the rest of…
