GE GOOD! Frigidaire Bad!
We have had this freezer for about one month. We replaced a diiferent freezer( Frigidaire) that the door seal was warped and caused inside ice and frost build up. The frigidaire was about 5 months old. Frigidaire was unable to fix it. We went to Best Buy and bought a GE to replace it. So far very happy with the GE freezer

Solid GE freezer so far
So far, freezer works well, needs a good pull to get it open but I suppose that means the seal is good. Delivery was delayed an additional two weeks after original delivery date to what I assume was a back order from GE. Delivery itself was great, the guys brought the freezer around back to our basement without issue and were quick and cleaned up before leaving.

Good value.
I am very happy with this Freezer. It sits in a very hot garage, and I am in and out of it several times a day. Only time will tell how well it holds up. Right now, it is doing great.

Great upright freezer
My parents purchased this as a birthday present for me based on the experience they have with their own. After a week of monitoring the temperature we decided to fill it up. The temperature has stayed consistent with where it is set, even through a 3 hour power outage. I would recommend this freezer to anyone looking for a high quality upright. It holds its temperature, has a strong seal, and has a door lock (useful if you have children who forget to close it).

Like Freezer - Disappointed with service.
The one problem was the delivery date was delayed twice. Very frustrating. When I purchased it, I indicated that that my current unit was malfunctioning and had almost totally defrosted my full freezer 3 times! There seemed to be no urgency in getting my new unit.

Poor customer service
The freezer is great, delivery and setup were great. However, there were only 4 models of freezers on the floor (not the one we bought) and 0 salespersons in the entire appliance area to help us and answer our questions. We had to go to the customer service desk to order the freezer which I could have done online at home!
