USB-C....only on connection
So even though it is usb-c, it is a micro-usb to usb-c connection, not usb 3.2. Despite that, it saves on buying an adapter for modern laptops.

Nice Hard Drive
Nice portable hard drive. I don’t use portable hard drives often but it’s nice to it when i need one. Bought it to transfer music CD’s to my computer and it worked flawlessly. Set up was easy and fast. It also has a handy little compartment with a door for the USB-C cable.

So Far, So Good
So far, so good. Reads the CD/DVDs I insert. Have not yet tried the burner, so not sure about that. Had trouble finding the right adapter for my new computer, though. Finally got one through Best Buy that would work, after getting some incorrect advice from the chat folks.

Cable too short
The cable that is in incorporated into the unit is too short. I have an older all in one PC and with the USB port being located higher on the PC the drive was partially suspended due to the cable being too short. 4” more of cable and I would have been able to use the drive. I could have put a book under the drive to fix the problem but have limited desk space. If you have a laptop thie cable length should not be an issue.
