Won’t turn on
Broke after only having it for 2 months and now I can’t afford to fix it either
-
Battery life deteriorated quickly
Battery life deteriorated months after buying. The battery died and would not hold a charge at all after 18 months.
-
misleading
while the MacBook looks in really good shape, I did not realize that it would be as old as it is, very disappointing for the price I paid, I could have added a little and got a brand new one
-
Known issue with this model.
The keyboard had an issue that caused it to repeat letters randomly. It would have been a 3 week repair. Fortunately, I was able to return it and buy something that works better for me.
-
Worst purchase
We ordered it for my son for college. When it got here he was locked out. The prior person’s information was still on the computer. We took it to Geek Squad they were not able to unlock it and it would keep a charge for more than a few seconds. We returned it and ended up buying a new one.

MacBook Pro for highschooler
The computer itself is great, if you don’t mind few dents on a body and adhesive visible on screen seam.
