Warming zone failure
Appliances these days, unless its just BestBuys fault, has horrendous quality control from the factory. The last hood I got was crushed at some point, im assuming at BestBuys warehouse and whoever damaged it repackaged it in a new box. I bought it and didnt check it because the package was in great condition. My contractor went to install it about a year and a half later and when we opened the box, it was crushed inside the box with no paint damaged or scuffed. This cooktop was bought at the same time and just got installed a few weeks ago and the warming zone dont work on it, which is a…

Controls really don’t work properly. Has to be turned to high heat all of the time. The cook surface is very extremely fragile. If you look at, it leaves a mark that cannot be removed. All bad.

Purchased this as a returned, unboxed item from BB Outlet at almost half the retail price, like around $440. Full price seems a bit too high for my taste, though. Happy with it; good design and performance, good quality, sturdy and easy wiring. Just be sure to check your counter cutout size— the base of this 30” cooktop was larger than my previous. This cost me almost $600 extra just to cut the drop-in hole larger in a quartz countertop— there went my savings, and then some! :( I actually like that this cooktop has knobs rather than digital control pad— less electronic problems and more…

I needed a cooktop that would fit into a specific area. Turns out, cooktops are not particularly uniform in regards to ”cut out size.” That said, this cooktop fit the countertop perfectly. My son did have to run a new, higher output service line to the cooktop from the service panel in order for me to safely use both large eyes at the same time, but that is entirely due to the difference in modern appliances and older ones. No delivery
I ordered the cooktop 4 weeks ago. It was supposed to be available for pickup at the warehouse yesterday 5/23. I got an Email stating it was being processed for pickup yesterday morning. I went by the warehouse at 4Pm and the lady said she didn’t have it in her system. She verified with someone else and said they did not show it being processed. As of 1 PM today I have not received any followup.
