Space
Easy to install. Internal storage is always going to better than external storage. Games were noticeably faster at launching when switching to this internal SSD.

Blazing Fast and Worth Every Penny
This WD Black SN850X is incredibly fast and has made a noticeable difference in my system. Boot times are almost instant, games load much quicker, and large file transfers are very fast. Installation was simple, and it has been reliable and stable with no issues. If you’re looking for a high-performance PCIe Gen 4 SSD for gaming or everyday use, this is an excellent choice. Highly recommended.

Great laptop upgrade.
Great way to add some more starage to a laptop. Now i can hold all my favorite games anywhere i go.

Great SSD
I installed this drive in my gaming PC and the difference was immediate. Sequential reads hit near the rated 7,300 MB/s and writes around 6,600 MB/s, so games load insanely fast, large asset transfers fly by, and even heavy multitasking feels snappier. Load times that used to take 15–20 seconds are now under 5 in most titles. Game Mode 2.0 works great on Windows—noticeably smoother when jumping between games and background apps. The drive stays cool under load (even without the heatsink version), reliability has been rock solid so far, and the 5-year warranty plus solid TBW rating give peace…

My Go-To SSD for Custom PC Builds
I have always been a fan of WD_BLACK drives and use them in all of my custom computers. The SN850X continues to be a solid choice with fast performance, reliable storage, and plenty of space for games and larger programs. Installation was simple, and I have had no issues with performance during everyday use or gaming. It may not always be the cheapest SSD available, but I trust the WD_BLACK lineup and will continue using it in future builds.

Star Citizen
I was looking for a new SSD card right away so that I could move Star Citizen from my main SSD to this one to free up space, so I looked up on the website and saw that this one was ready right away so bought it. It works just as well as my other SSD that came with the computer.
