Not as hot as expected
We like everything about this except the high heat. We swapped out a cheap whirlpool thinking this would be powerful to boil water quickly, but it did not perform any better than the whirlpool. We converted it to run on propane, so perhaps it’s more of a propane problem than the burners themselves. It was an expensive upgrade for minimal performance increase. But it looks great!

Love
Perfect gas cooktop! Griddle is electric which allows for perfectly even cooking.

Instead they have a couple burners with XLO (extra low) setting which turns the burner off and on. There’s no way that’s a recipe for longevity, but time will need to confirm that. I will need to buy a rice cooker now and have learned that, to cook a couple of eggs, you heat up the pan and then turn the burner off once you pour in the eggs. It’s fantastic…

The unit works perfectly, although the electric griddle that is where the gas grill used to be in the older unit takes considerably longer to heat. But the sealed burner pans and absence of a grill mean for easier cleanup. The burners have the unique ability to drop to very low heat suitable…

Fantastic Range Top
Fantastic range top. Very well designed. The burners and griddle are very easy to clean. The ”extra low” burner settings are really useful for low simmer things.
