These are a great budget friendly way to boost your sound quality without busting the bank. For under $100 you get stereo sound in a compact unit that can even be hidden behind the TV. It’s not surround sound quality, but it fits the niche between just plain old everyday TV speakers and break the bank/clutter up the livingroom sound system.

Meets my initial needs
I have only used this for a short time so can provide limited input. I wanted something that would improve the volume and clarity of sound over what is provided by my TV. It has proven to do that well. The remote allows me to turn it on just for those movies, etc. that have poor or limited sound quality. I do have to turn down the volume on the TV remote when using it. Otherwise, you get double sounds. There are other functions but I can’t seem to figure out what they are suppose to really do. I have tried them and don’t notice a lot of impact on the sound. That may improve with experience. I…
