• Open Box Review: When ”Excellent” is Only ”Good”

Inaccurate open-box grading feels deceitful. I trusted Best Buy’s Open-Box Grading Tier and purchased this product listed in ”Excellent” condition. Unfortunately, it arrived missing original accessories. According to Best Buy’s own standards, this should have been rated ”Good.” While the price was great and I still would have purchased it as ”Good”, the mislabeling felt like a bait-and-switch.

• Shokz opemove

I like the fact it’s open ear and it has great volume. My only dislike is if you wear them for a long time it becomes uncomfortable, especially when you wear glasses as well. I wear them while cooking, cleaning, exercises, working, almost everywhere.

• Comfortable even with busy ears

I was pleasantly surprised that these are comfortable and unobtrusive even while also wearing glasses, sunglasses, and a bike helmet all at the same time. The battery life thus far has also been better than I expected.

• I guess it does what it says…

This is an interesting technology that I’m sure is on the up and up, but I don’t think this item is on the up and up. It’s comfortable yes it does its job but I wouldn’t say it gives you good sound quality at all. I use it for phone calls and that sometimes works well and for music I feel like I have to blast it in order to really hear it so not my cup of tea, which is a shame because I like tea. I wouldn’t say it’s a bad product, but I wouldn’t say it’s a great one either like I said it does what it says it does

• DO NOT SHOP HERE

On 3/16/26 I ordered a pair of SHOKZ Open Move headphones through Best Buy’s online store. I picked up the order when it was ready on 3/25/26. I was talking to my mom on the phone using these headphones and she could not hear me. I thought maybe it was my Wi-Fi connection but it kept happening and it happened while talking to two other people. On 4/21/26 I spoke to Shokz directly and they determined the product itself is defective. I have not had luck with the manufacturer to get my replacement so I went back to Best Buy to return the item and they said that the return window was 15 days. I…
