Heats fast and great for refining waves and curls
How fast this styler heats up is impressive, literally only taking a minute to reach the maximum 430 degrees. The heat setting ranges from 270 to 430 degrees, so it’ll work for all hair types. The power button and the heat dial is between the styler’s arms, which I love because I’m not turning it off by accidentally brushing the buttons when doing my hair like tends to happen when they’re located on the side. Love my RevAir Precision Styler
The RevAir Precision Root & Micro Edge Styler is a great new tool to add to my ”beauty” arsenal. I have short baby-fine hair that tends to lay too flat but in some places it is quite curly and I have a cowlick (a spot of hair that always stands up and goes the wrong way) at the back of my head. What a mess, right?? This might just be the perfect tool to finally help me with my hair. It is ultra lightweight, with ultra-thin flat iron plates, easy to hold and it heats up very quickly (60 seconds). This is so easy to use but, of course, it does get very hot! Really great precision for getting it just right
I got this for my wife and she has medium length straight hair. This tool is really for precision work, its narrower than her other hair styling wands and can get in close to fix the rouge bits of hair that other products can’t quit get to, its superior to the other wands she has at creating perfect, PERFECT, parts. The heat up seems reasonably quick so that if you want to start with a larger surface and then pull this out if you need the extra detail work its an option, and that would be the one thing to keep in mind: you’re not really going to want to do a full head of hair with this wand…

Not great for those with several curls.
When I first saw the RevAir Precision Root and Micro Edge Styler, I thought it would be the perfect compiment for my wife. The plate was long and thin, and the handle was a nice size that fits in your hand. It was going to be perfect for precision straightening and styling. She was excited to try it particularly on her ”baby hairs” and the nape of her neck. The styler also gets very hot and reaches a nice hot temperature. Unfortunately it did not perform very well. The RevAir precision root and micro edge styler is a great tool to add to your hair styling arsenal. The RevAir heats up super fast in about a minute, so waiting a long time especially if you’re in a hurry. Temperature adjustments are from 270F to 430F which is easily controlled by a bright rotating dial. The RevAir also has a 60 minute auto shutoff timer. The heating plates are about 8mm meaning they are slim and built for precision styling and touch ups. Good and convenient
Full disclosure - my wife used this on her thick curly hair, not me. She liked how close and tight she could get to her roots without burning her scalp. Ergonomically, the styler is easy to turn and manipulate for whatever styling you are trying to accomplish with it. She did feel like she had to turn the temperature to maximum to get it to really work. The ceramic heating plates were too ”grabby”, in her opinion.
