Night and Day Difference from 5000 Series
I upgraded from an older 5000 series expecting more of the same, but was completely surprised how much closer and faster this 9600 shaved, while being quieter as well. It’s a great value and am glad I purchased!

Gives a good shave
I get a good, close shave with this razor and I recommend it. I am not a fan of the pads surrounding the blades; they make it difficult to get into tight places. The battery has good capacity; it will run for several weeks. I find cleaning the razor a little awkward. So I would say it is a good razor, but not perfect.

Decent electric razor
Bundle was solid, got it on sale for $100 for that it was a steal. Good everyday shave, cost of replacement blades higher than average for this model so consider that, might be better investing in tier above where blades were half the price of this model. Struggles under nose and on crook of neck, using the attachments are a must for full shave or you have stragglers. Not disappointed at all but not blown away.

A step above
I have used the lower quality Norelco shavers for years and none have come close to this. It twice as quiet and it shaves even 4 day old stubble like it’s nothing. This is definitely for those who want a quality razor
