Remote imposssible to set up
I spent several hours trying to set this remote up through the app. The app would recognize the remote and add it, but every time I tried to add the TV or receiver to the remote through the app, it would give an error that it cannot connect to the remote. I tried deleting and re-installing the remote to the app several times. Alll attempts led to the same dead end. Tried calling customer service several times and was never able to reach a human. This remote, the pp, and the customer service are all AWFUL.

Controlled all my devices
This remote operates my Chromecast, Sony TV, and Sony amplifier (which was important because it is an expensive amp from the early 90s). Easy to set up, and tactile buttons are a plus.

Just okay
Kind of expensive. I have had two of these and both seem to have the same issue. Not fully pairing all of the functions with the TV. Also, it freezes pretty often requiring the need to take the batteries out of the remote and put them back in. It is easy to set-up though and works well enough for the most part.

Multiple Units Arrived Defective
I attempted to purchase the One For All URC‑7966 from several Best Buy locations and through warehouse shipment. Each unit arrived brand‑new and sealed, but all showed the same out‑of‑box defects: the remote would not enter setup mode, the OK/Input area illuminated without being pressed, and the backlight activated on its own. Because these issues were identical across multiple units from the same regional distribution batch, I was never able to complete initial setup or test the remote’s intended features.
