Not great for cooling a 350 sq ft room
Bought this AC as I am very pleased with by bedroom AC by LG. This one does not really cool my family room. Both AC are loud. The AC may be good to cool a smaller room

Huge improvement over my old AC
My old AC was noisy and less powerful. This was the most powerful one I could buy with the outlet I have. It’s not super quiet but an improvement and unfortunately a feature of wall ACs in general.

Needed Replacement AC Unit-Found ONLY Perfect Fit
The ”thru-wall” unit in my apartment ceased to work in the middle of summer this year, so I definitely needed a replacement. Unfortunately, the make/model currently installed was no longer produced by the manufacturer or available at any retailer. So, I set about to find a reasonably suited replacement for it, with the help of the maintenance guys for my apartment complex. Wow is LG support BAD
The one star review is 100% related to the lack of customer support. The first thing you will notice with this unit is that the trim piece doesn’t fit around it. When you call customer support, they have no idea what the trim piece is. Once you direct them to the section of the manual where it calls out the trim piece, they almost understand. The support person says that it’s a known issue and will send a replacement, which they promptly send the wrong part. Another call later, and they still don’t understand what the trim piece is... finally they get it and say they will send the right…

Dead Unit
Came broken, spent a day putting it in the wall, fan didn’t work, made a loud clunk and scratching and kept it on. no dice will not buy again.
