Features

• ThinQ Smart Technology The ThinQ app offers control and convenience to help you simplify life and enjoy the comforts of home. Control your washer remotely or use voice commands with Google or Alexa voice assistants. Plus, download additional cycles and access Smart Diagnosis, customer support, and more.
• EasyUnload The key to our EasyUnload design is hidden beneath the sleek glass lid. We’ve angled the washer front for a more comfortable, ergonomic reach. Now you can easily retrieve stray items from the bottom of the tub—with no sacrifice in capacity. Pair it with an LG dryer that has the 2-way LG EasyLoad door and seamlessly transfer clothes from washer to dryer and dryer to basket.
• Built-In Intelligence: AI Fabric Sensor / Smart Pairing Forget about endless sorting or toggling through cycles—built-in sensors use AI technology to detect fabric texture and load size, then automatically select the right wash motions, temperatures and more for advanced fabric care. With Smart Pairing, the washer can even tell the dryer to select a compatible drying cycle², making it the ultimate laundry hack.
• ezDispense Automatic Dispenser Automatically dispenses the right amount of detergent and fabric softener, skipping refills for up to 14 to 25 loads³. Even get alerts on your smartphone when it’s time to refill, making laundry quick, easy and foolproof⁴.
• Water Faucet Spot-clean stains as you see them with the convenient water faucet option. Just press the Faucet pad to turn on water in the tub while you scrub. When you’re done, simply close the lid or press Faucet again and the water will automatically drain. If you want to start a load right away and use the water that’s accumulated, press Power and select a cycle.
• 5.5 cu. ft. Mega Capacity Say never again to never-ending piles of laundry—this mega capacity washer is one of the largest top load in its class⁵ to fit more clothes in every load and help you power through laundry day in less time. How big is 5.5 cu. ft.? Big enough to fit a king-size comforter and a full set of bedding in a single load, for big time savings every week.
• Sleek, Modern Design You’ve never seen a top load washer like this. The flat front and matte black finish are a perfect contrast to the high-gloss sheen of the full-width glass lid. In place of knobs and buttons, a sleek LCD digital dial control makes it easy to get laundry day dialed in. With style that’s right at home in 1st or 2nd floor locations, the SlamProof lid is a must-have for gentle, smooth and quiet closing, every time.
• ThinQ UP ThinQ UP enabled smart appliances receive continual software updates for new downloadable features and enhancements sent wirelessly to the appliance. Choose which features you want and customize your appliance based on your lifestyle and personal preferences.
• ThinQ Care Available within the ThinQ app, ThinQ Care sends proactive usage, maintenance, and diagnostic alerts to your smartphone to help keep your LG smart appliances running smoothly.
• TurboWash3D Technology A powerful jet spray, plus the tub and motor that rotate independently and in opposite directions, creates a powerful water flow that causes garments to rub against each other throughout the cycle for enhanced washing performance.
• 6Motion Technology Based on the cycle you select, LG 6Motion technology uses up to 6 different wash motions, each designed to get clothes cleaner and help them last longer. Options range from a scrubbing PowerMotion that helps to dissolve stains to the gentle Swinging motion that’s ideal for delicates.
• Deep Fill LG top load washers use precise wash motions to ensure clothes move efficiently through the detergent and water mix and come out ultra-clean, all while saving energy and money. But if you decide you want to add extra water to the occasional load, LG gives you the option to get your (deep) fill. Press Deep Fill at the start of any cycle to select the maximum water level.
