Dead only after two years
I got this in summer 2024 to replace an older unit (the last 20+m years). Two years later exactly, it started making weird sounds, loud buzzing. It take lot of time and effort to mount an over the range microwave, or pay installation cost as much as the microwave itself (BB was charing $200+ at the time). Very disappointing.

Product 5 star- service one star
Overall the microwave works great. User friendly menu. Unfortunately the installer didn’t check his installation after he was done. The door wouldn’t stay open . The second installer came readjusted the microwave and the door stayed open. Two observations - always check the installer and not only did the door not stay open but I had to clean up and drywall dust which included throwing away old trim he removed. Again the second installer readjusted the door but the appointment was between 9 to 11. He showed up at 4:30 with no phone call he was going to be late. Best Buy needs to hire 3rd party…

Above the stove LG replacement microwave
Had an older LG microwave above the range, (probably about 15 years old). The glass became loose on the outside of the door, and the door switch would not engage fully due to the integrity of the door being compromised. We bought the new LG since it had the same exact dimensions as the old one, so our thoughts were mounting it would be a breeze... Well, not so much, apparently LG changed some of their mounting positions, so it ended up being more of a hassle than mounting a new microwave due to bolts spaced the same width but not the same depth. Probably our fault for not checking into it…
