Oops, I have this review to the wrong item. I was looking for a specific chip-set so I could max out my ethernet connection for my network. It worked great! Simply plugged it in, turned of wi-fi and wow. 100%, this worked great.

Fast and Reliable When Detected
This USB ethernet adapter has proven to be fast and reliable in use, but for some reason my computer only detects the device about half the time on bootup. I have to unplug and plug the adapter into the USB port until it is detected, sometimes multiple times. I recommend this product if, like me your motherboard ethernet went out, and your computer won’t detect an aftermarket PCIe ethernet card. Once detected,, there are no problems.
