The GEEKOM A9 Mega is a desktop-class AI workstation in a 1.9kg mini PC. The AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 388 processor combines 8 Zen 5 cores and 16 threads at up to 5.0GHz with a 50 TOPS NPU and the full 40-compute-unit Radeon 8060S GPU, giving it the graphics throughput of a discrete card without one. 64GB of quad-channel LPDDR5X-8000 memory feeds the GPU and NPU with high bandwidth for running large local AI models, and a 2TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD provides fast storage with a second M.2 slot available for expansion. Note that the memory is soldered and cannot be upgraded after purchase. Connectivity is comprehensive: two USB4 Type-C ports at 40Gbps with DisplayPort 2.1, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C, three USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A, one USB 2.0 Type-A, dual HDMI 2.1 supporting 8K output, dual 2.5G Ethernet, an SD card reader and a 3.5mm audio jack. Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 handle wireless. A vapor chamber and dual-fan cooling system sustain performance under load. Windows 11 Pro is preinstalled with a 3-year warranty.
