Fast Efficient and Quiet Dryer
The GE Profile Electric Dryer is a great buy. It’s quiet, efficient, and fast for drying large loads. Great for a family or anyone who needs to take care of large laundry loads.

Poor drying performance, went dead after 1.5 years
This dryer has to be run 2 to 3 cycles to get the clothes dry. And after 1.5 years, it just goes dark mid-cycle and won’t even power on anymore.

Ge dryer
Stopped working after 2 years was impressed at first then it just wouldn’t turn on anymore keeps saying the door is open when it’s not when you can get it to turn on etc.

I bought this used, so it was pretty beat up and has an error code that never goes away, since it’s used I can’t blame the dryer itself.. it does work and dries clothes. None of the advanced features work though, just as a basic everyday dryer.

I absolutely love this dryer. I appreciate having so many options with drying different fabrics of all kinds. I also really like the ability to sanitize the dryer. What I hate about the dryer, is that i already need a new lint catcher because the one that came in the dryer is detached in 5 different places so there’s a lot of lint going all the way down to the bottom of the dryer and ive got to use a long gadget (made for grabbing)excessive lint build-up.

Beware
It worked for almost a year, we lost complete power to the dryer. I reset the circuit breaker twice. It is plugged into the wall. So something internal is going on. Very unfortunate and it is a weekend.
