Converted to LP, works well if adjusted properly
First, all ranges in the 20” size here in the US are overpriced relative to the standard 30” ranges, so I’ll leave out comments on the stupidly high price. It’s flimsy -- this is not a high quality build range, the knobs are a light plastic, the interior lower panel that covers the heaters and valves is thin and flexes/bends. Especially annoying is the top rear black heat guard that attaches to the range with only two screws -- the guard bends and moves from the two-screw hinge points. This is such a cheap way to do this. Looks nice, burners work, terrible quality
Missing several screws that secure various panels - on the back and inside the oven compartment. Not obvious at first glance, but during the LP conversion process these became apparent. Bottom panel of oven arrived warped. When oven heats up, the exposed front panel above the oven door gets hot enough to burn skin. I am convinced that if I ram it for more than a few minutes it would melt the plastic burner control knobs. The door shuts fairly well, so I don’t think it’s an anomaly or operator error, it seems like a terrible design. Overall, the construction and quality control seems way…

Gas Burners Only? No Gas in oven-Electric only !
I went to the BB store in Queens to buy this. I looked at this stove and discovered an electrical element in the top -it’s not gas. The BB employee told me the interior was entirely electric. I don’t want that -I want gas. No one even at GE can help me. Several GE assistance people, in different departments gave me different answers: (1)the entire oven is electric, (2) the broiler is electric but there is a hidden gas element below the oven, heating up, above the storage drawer. If that is true, there should be two different BTU ratings: one for the broiler, another for the oven. I had wanted…
