Perfect thin center speaker.
A great center speaker at only 4 inches high. With plenty of tweeters.

Excellent sound and excellent value, if you need a center channel and not an all in one soundbar but don’t wish to drop dimes, this is the one!

Soundbar setup
My new set up with the geek squad was great. Soundbar sounds good. They took time with my setup. So happy with everything. Only use the geek squad.

Frustration and a BIG MISTAKE
The Polk Audio ST35 speaker was guaranteed by the sales agent to be compatible with the tv that I ordered. I specifically asked this question several times over because I am technology challenged and I have no way of making that assessment on my own. 3 weeks later the installers arrived. The installers informed me that the Polk XT35 speaker was not compatible with the tv and they would have to come back when we received a compatible speaker. The rest of the story gets downright ugly. I could not possibly recreate the entire scenario, but having talked with several Best Buy customer service…

Stopped working after just under two years
I bought this open box — excellent — so it was basically new. I purchased it in October 2023. The sound is ok, I find that it really only sounds good on one setting though my receiver, but I’m unclear whether that’s because of my set up, or because of the speaker itself. Unfortunately it just stopped working out of the blue the other day. Not sure why. It seems that a Polk Audio speaker ought to last more than two years. Glad I didn’t pay full price.

Matches my other Polk speakers. Amazing sound from a compact size.

Polk Audio XT36
Very well made center channel speaker. Handles power well and has a vey clean sound. Its powered by a Sony STR-DH590 (also bought at Best Buy). Have owned it for 3 years now and am very pleased with it. Only dowside is for me and this is only my personal downside. The speaker is a little tall for my setup. I have an LG 86UM8070PUA (Bought thru AAFES..Army Retired) and its height is a little low to place speaker in front of TV.(Blocks remote sensor). As per my TV stand setup...shelf underneath TV in enclosed on 3 sides open front. The Speaker is bass reflex so sound can sometimes be to boomy…
