Solid Mic for the money
Really great for the Money. Stacks up in quality with the Diety mic
-
Great sound
Serves its purpose and fits well into my work flow.
-
Good product, price too high
The mic worked well with my camera and the ease with which I could connect took the hassle of technology out of the equation. The price is a little high for my liking, but a good product nonetheless.
-
Solid product
Sits solid on top of my sony handy cam. Significantly reduced noise picked up from nearby people. Good/cheaper option
-
Mic check
Improved overall recovery of sound and real clarity on crowd noise.
-
Effective shotgun microphone.
Bought this for our daughter for her high school video production / newscast class. Does seem superior in its intended use as a narrow field shotgun mic, as opposed to the wider field pick-up of the built in mic on our Sony 4K video camera. Quality item.

I’ve had many for a reason
Excellent directional mic. It really focuses on the front and not the sides for audio. It could use some bass but that’s an easy fix in post.
-
Okay for the Price
I have only used it a couple times so far. It has worked Okay, I didn’t have much to choose from.

Nice Sony Microphone for Sony Camcorder
Good shotgun microphone and the zoom mic feature works really well with the Sony FX-43A camcorder. Shotgun mic, but not zoom, works with the Sony ZV-1. Not needing an extra cable is a nice bonus.
-
Limited functionality (no zoom) for A6000
This has gun and zoom mode but my sony A6000 doesnt support the zoom mode so I returned it.
