• A Must-Have Upgrade for MAG6R Speakers!

These speaker enclosures are fantastic! The MAG6R speakers are already a phenomenal value, and these enclosures make them even better. They’re especially well suited for condo applications. In our case, they allowed us to get excellent performance from the MAG6Rs without having to insulate entire walls or invest in extensive sound-dampening treatments between units. The enclosures do an excellent job of containing and controlling the sound that would otherwise travel into the wall cavity, which gives us greater confidence that we can enjoy the speakers without unnecessarily disturbing our…

• Great

We added the Sonos MAG6R speakers to a new room we had built in our home. I wanted to add these enclosures so I wouldn’t lose sound into the ceiling. They work great. Going to add more speakers throughout the house and will be getting more of these.

• A must-have for Sonance ceiling speakers

I recently had the Geek Squad install my home theatre. The home came pre-wired with a 5-speaker surround sound configuration, so I decided to get the Sonance 5.1 speaker kit. I added these enclosures to the install to protect the speakers from insulation and dust that are certain to drop, no doubt causing vibrations and interference with the speaker cones. I was glad I did because a lot of insulation dropped from the holes cut for the speakers and these enclosures are a necessity. They are actually designed quite nice with nice lettering and two sets of terminals for hooking up the speaker…

• Mag6r. speaker backs

I thought these were a little pricey for plastic covers, but they are very well-made. They fit perfectly and have a rubber gasket that runs the full perimeter of the cover, giving a tight seal on the back of the speaker, preventing any dust dirt or debris intrusion into the speaker. This was a must for me as I have blown in insulation in my attic. The first two speakers, I installed a fabricated cardboard boxes with some foam rubber insulation in the back by the time I spent couple hours doing that as well as buying cement to glue them down this was much faster and easier. Plus, you can…

• Sonos protective covers

Finished off what was needed to shield the inside speaker from dust and dirt and helped project the sound.

• Hate to order extra

Only issue is these are ONLY sold at BB and in pairs. It’s A LOT of money to end up with an extra. I think SONOS should have integrated the enclosure on their own speakers to avoid an additional purchase.
