• An excellent downdraft range hood!

  We had a major kitchen rebuild some years ago, and the contractor installed a KitchenAid telescopic downdraft unit as part of the upgrade package. It failed after approximately 10 years, and I didn’t want to again deal with what I’d discovered to be numerous installation discrepancies when replacing it. I’m a rather qualified DIYer, and after identifying that this unit would be a suitable form/fit/function replacement for the failed unit, I bought and properly installed it while concurrently remedying assorted issues with the previous so-called ”professional” installation. • High quality. Challenging install. Buy open-box!

  Very sleek design and has high quality materials. Exhaust fan is pretty loud on highest setting, but not obnoxiously so. Installation was a challenge given the tight fit on my island and the house’s existing exhaust setup. Overall, I’m happy with the purchase , especially at the reduced price of open-box

• Kitchen Aid Downdraft System

  Looks like an excellent downdraft system. Kitchen Aid has a good reputation for kitchen appliances so I’m sure we will be happy with this product once it is installed.

• Great Downdraft

  Purchased back in November of 2019 but the item was delayed for several months. We finally got it installed. We have no complaints about it.

• Return Policy

  I bought this as an open item. we were verbally told that we had 14 days to return it. We returned it not open with the BB security tape still in place. We were charged a 15% restocking fee for an open box item. Check out the policy on the BB website. There is no restocking fee if the product is unopened or if the purchase and the return both occur within: AL, CO, HI, IA, MS, OH, OK, SC and where prohibited by law. The restocking fee will be taxed in select states.

• Love this downdraft

  I have had cooktops with downdraft for many years. It is a great solution for an island, but I purchased this one to simplify and streamline a new kitchen. They are effective and great space savers.

• Rises high, and saves space

  Our installer from BestBuy recommended we go with this brand (vs. a KitchenAid, which would’ve been the same manufacturer as our gas range). This one fit better in the space we needed it in, and the vent rises higher than the KitchenAid, allowing it to clear more of the ’gas’ rising off the burners. And, it’s quiet and effective.
