Low profile but high rating
Love the KitchenAid 1.1 Cu. Ft. low Profile Over-the-Range microwave we purchased. Fits nicely above the range. Looks splendid. Cooks, reheats as it should, Quiet, sharp looking, just what we wanted. Would buy again.

Love it!
Nice having a slim model over the bulky normal microwaves. Fan is powerful and not nearly as loud as our old one. More space above stovetop. Wifi connection is kinda cool to have too.

Fan and light are in area of where you open the door and you are constantly turning on either the fan or the light. Also too may steps to simply warm something up

Disappointed!
Disappointed with the purchase. The microwave looks sleek and fancy but has some design and manufacturing issues. The turntable is wobbly. The buttons have a lag and are not user friendly. Given the premium price KitchenAid charged for this microwave I was expecting much higher product quality standard.

Low Profile Upgrade
My kitchen had a circa 1986 original white, size-large, Maytag microwave. I upgraded the stove to a Kitchen Aid a year ago and got this matching low profile microwave and completed the upgrade of my kitchen. We’ve always just heated in a microwave and this one’s great. Gentle sounding alarm, pull or push button to open, turntable (the MW with the air fryer mode didnt have a turntable) and gives us room to see the stove dials, vent outside and 3 light settings are terrific. Not disappointed.
