Advantium excellence
After buying and trying the Bosch 800 Series (we returned it because it was defective), we opted to upgrade to the Advantium, based on the reviews and a store visit where we got to see it. The Advantium is a huge improvement over the Bosch. It’s better style and function. It’s quieter in convection mode and with fan on. If the clock stayed on, it’d be perfect, but the clock will stay on if you leave the light on underneath AND open/close the door (weird, right?). I hated the price, but appreciate the value.

Excellent Microwave Oven
We are pleased with our new GE Advantium microwave oven. It does the job. It comes with many conveniences. I do wish the time stayed illuminated.

Wish I could tell you what I thought about the actual microwave, the first one had a bad control panel. I had someone doing other work already so I just picked it up. Because of this when I discovered that I had a defective unit, I learned I needed to to either pay again to have either them or my contractor to come out and get it down, then I would get to pay again to reinstall. I’ve installed microwaves in the past with just myself and my wife, that was quite a few years ago she’s 69 years old and I’m not far behind and currently being treated for cancer with chemotherapy. This is the second unit we bought this year. We purchased the first unit for our house and then decided to move so we bought the second unit for the new house. We missed having the unit.

A great appliance hardly anyone has
We had our last Advantium for 20 years. Our new one has some new features but is working great. I couldn’t cook without one! Everything cooks faster. Pizza and rolls crisp so nicely.

Good but workmanship could have been a bit better.
Works great, some small scratch marks in stainless finish and the top of the door does not close totally flush as the bottom. Maybe a bit bent, but all-in-all good. Paid a bunch to have the ”speed cook” feature, but loved that with are old unit and had to have it.
