New review bought this in April 2019!
I bought this dishwasher in April 2019 and I woke up this Sunday morning and it died on me completely! I spent about $600 on it and use it about 3 times a week so for the past 6 1/2 years. This is ridiculous! My last dishwasher lasted me 25 years and I never had a problem. It just got old and I wanted to replace it when I redid my kitchen so I even had a warranty on it and I only used it once before it ended so I don’t know what they’re doing nowadays, but all I can say is they are not building anything to last!

Love love love my dishwasher
This dishwasher is great! On pots and pans settings it runs for a long time but the dishes get cleaned, even with hard water. The extra silverware drawer up top is used a lot in my large family. Love and recommend

Not great
This dishwasher broke after one year. It wouldnt wash an entire load.

Satisfied for 3.5 years
The dishwasher worked as expected for approximately 3.5 years. I was very satisfied with the performance up until the UI control panel no longer lit up or functioned. The UI control panel would temporarily function after disconnecting the power but would then quit after a few cycles. This continued for a few power resets but then hasn’t come back on now for more than three weeks. I feel like this dishwasher should have worked as expected for more than 3.5 years.

Light usage - Stopped working after 3 years
3 years in, the dishwasher stopped turning on. And mind you, we did not even use it like crazy. Our frequency was more like once every couple of days. Anyway, we had a technician come over who said its main control board is dead and needs to be replaced (along with the main control panel as recommended by GE). So their quote is higher than what a brand new one is selling for right now. If I were you, I would stay away

Poor design: circuit board near steam outlet!
1st service call under warranty, second service call 2 1/2 years in, main circuit board no longer working. Choices are to spend $300 plus service call $190 = $500 MINIMUM, OR buy a new dishwasher. We WERE GE loyal, let’s see how this is handled.

Wife Loves it
Wife loves it. Cleans well, large capacity, clean finish. I cannot understand how to use it, great excuse for not having to do the dishes. I maybe have not tried hard enought to learn how to use it. Doesnt matter wife loves it, which is all that matters to me.
