Great little amp
The Denon home amp honestly exceeded my expectations. I was also considering a SVS Wireless Pro SoundBase, but the negative reviews of the DTS Play-Fi app really made me hesitate. The Heos app works great with this amp. You can adjust Bass and Treble too. I paired this with some Energy CF-50 tower speakers that I had replaced as my home theater speakers, but didn’t want to part with because they still sounded great. I was streaming from Tidal and accidentally turned the volume slider up to quickly and hurt my ears, so it definitely can power my speakers just fine. It’s small enough not to…

Amplifier doesn’t always come on as it should, and sometimes while listening to a program all of a sudden the sign will go off not happy at all

I purchased 2 amplifiers for built in speakers in my home. They were very easy to set up and work together or individually using the HEOS app. The app is very easy to use as well.

New Denon Home Amp
Looking to replace an 18 year old AudioSource amplifier with either a Denon or Marantz. Chose the Denon Home Amp because I have a Denon AVR. Wanted an amplifier with HEOS capability and also the ability to turn on and off through the HEOS app. The Denon Home Amp retails at $799. Best Buy had it on sale for $739 and I had a $10 rewards certificate. Seemed like I was getting a bargain. I opted to install and setup the Amp myself, rather than have the Geek Squad do it. High quality with excellent components and sound quality. Connection is easy with HEOS, used a hard LAN line and directly wired to the network which I prefer over wireless to provide more reliable connectivity. But you can hook this up wirelessly. The equipment and hardware itself is high-quality and sounds great. However,HEOS music ecosystem app itself is a love-hate relationship because I think they could do a lot to make the interface better but it is an improvement over the past years. I have bought over 25 HEOS equipped products for myself and family and friends and am thoroughly familiar with the quality of Denon and Marantz audio equipment and this Amp is another reminder of why I buy Denon and Marantz from Best Buy. I have it hooked up to a pair of Klipsch towers that I bought a couple of years ago at Best Buy and a 10” powered sub.
