Ryzen 7 9800x3d!!!!
This thing is an absolute monster of a cpu and i could not be more impressed. Performs incredible and my cpu cooler keeps this thing running about 40° with ultra high settings on 4k.

Amazing
Best gaming performance for the best bang of your buck

Chilly for how powerful it is
I’ve only ever used 3 CPUs in my life and this is the first high tier one and I’m surprised by the thermal performance of it. With a Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 EVO it sits at 46*C idle and on demanding games it will be between 50-58*C. My previous less powerful CPUs were hotter than this one. I put a -30 PBO curve in the BIOS to undervolt this thing and it made the temps a couple degrees colder at no performance cost.

Best cpu
Ryzen 7 runs AAA games smoothly with high FPS worth it

9800x3d
This thing gets HOT. I do not know if I got a chip that overvolts from time to time but the voltage spikes on the x870 tomahawk push the chip hard. That being said my 1% lows are way better than the 14900k at 1080p, it runs a little hotter, but that’s too be expected with the performance. My arctic liquid freezer 360 has a problem with the thermal spikes, I used cryofreeze, and it’s better than the Corsair stuff from here. But still, it’ll jump to 70c for absolutely not reason, my settings on the aio are optimal for the thermal spikes. Best CPU I’ve had for gaming.

Buy this!
Runs everything you’d ever need at rocket speeds. Never had any issues playing any modern games no matter the graphical intensity. Just dominates everything in its path. Great chip.
