• Could be good, but failed to deliver

These didn’t sound all that great when I got them as the lack of a true center channel is extremely noticeable. I tried using these connected to S-Center input to use my Sony X90K tv speakers as the center channel and a very audible persistent hiss sound could be heard as soon as the S-center audio channel was connected to the TV. I do believe this was more due to the X90K electronics rather than the speakers, so this might not be an issue with some TVs, but considering the price I don’t believe its worth the gamble. I ended up returning them for another brand that had a true center channel…

• Exceptional

I have this paired with the sub 9 and it sounds amazing. Sony’s 360 spacial sound bubble it creates is awesome. With this setup, who needs to go the movie theater anymore? You have Dolby Atmos right in your living room . I think this sounds better than the theater!

• Sound system

The Sony BRAVIA Theater Quad is an incredibly immersive setup that is refreshingly easy to install. It offers a fantastic simulated center speaker, though you may find that the rear speakers could use a slight volume boost for perfect balance.

• Big sound little bass

Very surprising sound quality. Great surround sound. Only lacking in the bass department.

• Long term review one year

If you are reading reciews for this you are likley looking at Sonos Arc or other top soundbars as well. The differance is this.. you can get a wider soundstage from the quad meaning physically you can space them father apart to get a wide ingulfed sound. You need the sub for sure no bass from the quad. Chimes, swings etc that i never heard on my Sonos so this feels more home theature like. We dont notice the lack of a center channel either. Buy this is you want the best in a box sound system for movies and tv it performs better than any other soundbar ive heard and frankly, its not even close…

• Big Price Little value,

Sony tried their best. But calling this flagship sound system is way of mark. It should be called most overrated sound system of the Sony trademark. Best Buy handling of this entire purchase was completely unprofessional and I will never buy from Best Buy again.

• Just Buy It

You get what you pay for. Sony’s prices are high, but man this system is incredible. Clear and perfect. I came from a Samsung Q990B, which was good, but after hearing the Sony..there is no comparison. I recommend

• Worth the price

This system is amazing and worth every penny. The most surprising aspect is how much depth and richness it adds, without having to be ”loud,” something lacking in other speaker systems. Even in a smaller-than-ideal space or oddly shaped room, the calibration it does somehow makes the sound seem like it’s floating right around your head. Highly recommend! I had to wait a while for the product but I’m glad my patience held out. It was super easy to setup.
