Catastrophic failure in 2 years
Thinking I had a normal issue, I contacted Samsung service for an appt. While waiting, my wife decided to go into Supergirl YouTube mode and watch a bunch of videos to disassemble and see whats going on. Bottom line: The concrete balance block had disintegrated, tube bolts sheared, I mean it was like Tropic Thunder with real bullets in there. And of course, major appliances had dropped from 36 month coverage to 12. I’m an all Samsung home have loved them for 15 yrs plus. This company and I are now forever done. You will regret buying Samsung!
PLEASE! DO NOT BUY Samsung appliances! They break! (Our Maytag lasted nearly 30 years. Our Samsung didn’t last 6.) Worse, Samsung has designed a ”customer service” and repair process that will frustrate you to the point that you will kick your $700.00, six year old washing machine to the curb rather than jump over all the hurdles Samsung puts in front of you to have your machine fixed. They are obviously only interested in their next sale, not in helping existing customers. Trust me, you will regret buying Samsung.

This is a great washer. I wish I had understood the washer/dryer-in-one option though. Only real negative is the door is plastic, not as sturdy as previous model.

Fancy Outside but So-so Inside
When it was on clearance, the price was awesome but we had so many technical issues during the time we owned it. Bestbuy was pretty helpful to help us to exchange with another front load washer.

I purchase a brand new washer and dryer from Bestbuy. After less than 2 months and little use, the washer stopped working with my clothes inside. I called Bestbuy and they could not help. I was referred to Samsung and it has been a nightmare. Samsung sent several technicians none of which could fix the washer. It’s been almost a month and I am still without a washer. Each technician brings a part that does not work. The last tech came on 1/5/24 and the part he brought was defective. Samsung refuses to replace the defective washer or issue a refund. I am very disappointed in their service and…
