D850 Nikon FX
the camera is good at 45 meg pixels. I have a d750 and camera is similar

Great camera!
Quality of this camera is exceptional. This is my second D850, purchased because my first camera is pushing 500,000 images. Although a bit heavy, I prefer the feel of this camera over smaller bodies. I like the many programmable features contained within this camera body. I use primarily for sports photography, with occasional portrait work.

I now have the G O A T
It’s too soon to give an expanded review, but so far it’s everything the talk is about.

Still relevant in 2026
Significantly improved auto focus over my d800. I still like the dslr and have lots of old f mount glass. A bit heavy but works well and still takes great images. A winner in my world.

Okay, Shutter Malfunctioned
I didn’t love this camera. The shutter malfunctioned the first time I used it and it was leaving my photos half black. I’ll likely be buying a Z5II instead. The photos it took before the malfunction were crisp, though.
