Not new but used
I was unable to gain access to the Internet and had to take it into Xfinity store. While there they came to the conclusion the address had already been assigned which means this unit was not brand new.

was told by BestBuy teck. that it would work with optimum voice and it doesn’t so had to return it

this product works great so far. it’s easy to use and was easy to set up.

Netgear Modem for Xfinity
This modem was not able to connect to Wi-Fi. I tried two different set of routers and did not work. Finally I switched to a different modem (ARRIS) and everything worked fine.

Great Product
This is a solid product. A bit expensive however it has a very specific purpose...if you have Comcast/Xfinity phone service as well as internet it has the required ports. I replaced a modem with combined router, so a user needs to be aware this is a modem only with phone port. We used an eero router and added a Netgear switch and everything worked out fine.

Needed to update my old cable modem and we still have a voice line, so limited choices. This works well with improved download speeds and stability compared to our old modem, and set up was easy without any glitches.

Work as expected. Need to add a deco (TP Link) for wifi. Be everything seem to be working well together.
