- DEAD ZONES, ELIMINATED Bring WiFi 6 to the rooms your router cannot reach - bedrooms, garage, basement, and backyard - with up to 1,200 sq. ft. of added coverage for up to 15 devices, from any wall outlet
- ONE WIFI NAME ACROSS YOUR HOME Smart Roaming keeps your existing network name and moves each device to the strongest signal automatically, so there is no manual switching and no dropped calls or streams as you move room to room
- EASY SET UP Use the NETGEAR Nighthawk app for guided setup, or press WPS on your router and the extender
- STREAM AND GAME ON EVERY DEVICE Let more devices stream, game, and video call at once with up to 1.6 Gbps (AX1600), plus a Gigabit Ethernet port. Real-world speeds vary depending on connected devices and internet plan
- WORKS WITH THE ROUTER YOU ALREADY HAVE Connects to any router or gateway from Xfinity, Spectrum, AT&T, Cox, or Verizon and rebroadcasts its signal. It extends your router, it does not replace it, with no closed ecosystem to lock you in

NETGEAR Extender Delivers Fast, Simple Setup
This NETGEAR EAX12 mesh extender makes setup painless. Plug it in and it gets to work almost right away, no complicated steps involved. Pairing it with the NETGEAR Nighthawk app makes the process even smoother, giving full control over the network right from your phone. Works but not apparently if you have solar
I have solar and the reason I bought this was to make the signal I have from where the router/modem combo is at go to the solar. The signal strength near the extender is good. But, when you try to connect the wifi to the solar it barely has any signal. Mind you, the solar inverter is on the same wall as the wifi extender. Just one is on the inside and the other is outside. Also, i get signal from across the street to my wifi.

Strong
Description: I used the extender to connect to my security system. My router didn’t have the strength to reach outbuildings. The Netgear mesh extender is easy to set up and easy to place.

Wifi Easy
Added additional wifi signal to area that had poor signal. This was easy to install and conntect to my existing netgear router. Signal boost and did not have to update any devices as they connected as usual.
