The pen works retroactively with a ProS 6 computer. Charge it with the Slim Pen 2 charger Dock plugged into the USB slot

Works great with the surface pro. It sucks you have to pruchase separately, but it is a great pen.

Microsoft slim pen
Pen works fine but does not come with charger. Pricey for a device you cannot charge without a separate purchase.

Works great with my 2012 Surface Studio
Tilt and all features work as intended - except that this does NOT come with the charging cradle if you do not have a newer surface device... they also dont MAKE the cradle anymore. Which is required to be able to charge the pen. Had to buy it second hand. It would have been nice if this pen supported USB-C in these modern times. If I had more time to research, I would recommend a different pencil for anyone with older Surface devices.

Great but problems.
The pen works great however some of the software support is limited (aka apps not made to work well with pen apps) Also watch out to may the keyboard with the pen charger if your not buying the surface 12 witch bad a built in charger. If you do buy the pen alone and don’t buy the charging keyboard you won’t have a way to charge unless you buy the charger from Microsoft store.
