Works well
Bought it for my laptop . Downloaded the Roxio easy CD&DVD burning 2 and burned a few music Cd’s with it. Took less than 10 minutes per Cd. The directions that came with it are not the best. Had to ask my son where to insert the disc.(the black slit in front) I was looking for a lid. Ha

Tray will not open.
I spent a fair amount of money for this. Plugged it in and it only whirrs and the light blinks, but the tray will not open. Was told it needed to be in the ”C” drive because it needed more power. Ordered an A to C adapter for it. Plugged that in. Pushed the button and the tray will still not open. Removed device from Windows and restarted computer thinking it needed new compatible drivers. Still not working. Was told to force tray open by pressing a paper clip into a hole, but where is this hole? I give up. I am done with this brand and since it is past the return window, I guess I throw away…

Returned it
The drive did not read my Blue-ray discs properly. Installation was not very convenient, and I wanted a black model instead of silver. I returned it and chose a different product.

External CD player works great
I bought this external CD player from Best Buy in Clearwater, Florida. It works really well. I especially like that there is no door that slides open for the CD. Instead there is a slit you push it in until the player sucks it in. No for sliding out means that I have more space on my desk for something else. Plus, I like LG products, I have several from washing machine and dryer to a refrigerator, and they all work great.

Saving Memories
Simple and easy to use. Since it is not intergrated into the computer . It dos’nt react as quickly as as would like . But it is a good replacement .
