Perfect.
I have a go pro hero 12 black and wanted to use this for the 13, so i ordered the feet for the 13 and they fit perfectly on the 12 which allows me to use the quick detatch ball mount.

Works and versitile
I have the regular magnetic and the ball magnetic mounts. The ball version is very versitile. The standard are good with keeping a level horizon. Built well. The magnets are not very strong, but they only aid in alignment to the Gopro. Each side has spring loaded clips to hold the camera to the mount securely.

A perfect fit..
I pulled the ball-head mount from the quick release and installed it into the El Grande extension pole. It is a perfect fit. I’ll definitely be doing this with my other El Grande.
