this is the power cord you need for new KitchenAid
Unfortunately when you buy the dishwasher installation kit, it comes with an outdated power cord that no longer is compatible. You need this kind of power cord because it connects to the junction box without have to use the twist on connectors. Best Buy needs to offer a dishwasher kit with this option for the power cord in addition to what they have now.

Good Cord
Unfortunately, the cord that came with the BestBuy’s smart choice kit broke easily, so then I went on BestBuy and fortunately enough, there was an official GE Cord, the only problem I had was the shipping because it took about 3 weeks since they had to special order it.
